What is a Legacy? Listen to this Podcast Interview

A Legacy may be described as the footprints, fingerprints, and memories we leave to our peers and those who come after us.

Do you remember this chorus?

“Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful.

May the fire of our devotion light their way.

May the footprints tht we leave

Lead them to believe,

And the lives we live inspire them to obey.

Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful.

This refrain is part of a song by John Mohr, first published in 1988. Steve Green’s version of it was sung at my father’s funeral, which was so appropriate as we reflected upon his encouraging, inspiring, godly life.

I think of my legacy as the batons I pass on to others, as I share my life and faith. Much could be said here. We pass on more batons than the ones we intend to bequeath. This is something to ponder.

However, right now, I just want to pass on to you another interview in which I participated  last July but was just posted on April 10, 2026.

Check this out. Listen as you walk, ride in the car, or work in the kitchen or garage.

“Corner Pillars Podcast” is led by three ladies: Dr. Christy Hill, Kimberly Buck, and Vicki Gatchel. They want to share life stories from various Christian women “in view of God’s greater story.” The ladies explain, “As daughters of the King, it’s our desire to be corner pillars; for our lives to be a place for God’s story to be on display.” Note Psalm 144:12.

Take a listen to their interview of me, and you may wish to listen to their interviews of other women posted on their site. I’d love a response from you. You too should be interviewed by friends and family members. Maybe we should ask persons we admire if we may interview them. And the blessings flow on.
